Professor Stephen Hawking says no God created Universe

There is no place for God in theories on the creation of the Universe, the physicist and mathematician Professor Stephen Hawking has said.

He had previously argued that belief in a creator was not incompatible with science - but in a new book The Grand Design, he concludes that the Big Bang was an inevitable consequence of the laws of physics.

Well Stephen is certainly entitled to his opinion, as that is all it is. Unless he has some sort of incrediable powers that enable him to safely travel back to the formation of the cosmos, scan the area for signs of deity, then come back to the present day, how can he know for sure? And even if he did that how would be know to believe him?

The only thing more tiring to listen to than a religious zelot badgering on about what ever they think is some supposed proponent of "reason" (aka Atheist) who badgers you endlessly about how can you be so stupid to believe in God.

In any event I hope Stephen takes the time to thank the God he doesn't believe in for being being born when he was, were he was, so that he could have the oppertunity to accomplish all that he has.

Remember we all get to find out the answer about God eventually. You just don't get to tell anyone.
